Kemal's narrative idea
- A woman hears a strange noise coming from a room in a house she just moved in to, and she see's a rocking chair rocking back and forth but it's self. and she gradually walks closer and closer to it, then it shows the front of the chair with no one sitting on it with the woman behind it, then it shows a point of view shot of her walking up to the chair but theres a hand on the arm rest. she gets closer and closer then the person on the chair jumps out, and the door shuts and locks.
- Advantage- This is a conventional thriller idea and has the potential to be a successful clip. We can make this clip like no other.
- Disadvantage- There wont be a lot going on in the scene, it will just be a very quick thrill and will not create that much of a tension amongst the audience.
Bryan's idea: A girl hears a noise down stairs she goes down stairs and then realizes the source is coming from the front if the house she walks out side to the end of the garden but a killer gets into the house when she leaves it. he then hides and she walks in. she goes up stairs and it says'your going to die' in the mirror she goes to bed really scared and the killer is under her bed.
- Advantage- Typical narrative of someone getting killed so the audience can identify the genre. It is easily followed and the audience wont get lost or confused with the narrative.
- Disadvantage- A killer coming into the victim's house is too predictable, and it is seen to much in thriller films..
My narrative idea:
A stalker follows an innocent woman down an alley way then kills and rapes her, the editing was going to be the key factor in making this idea a good thriller scene.
Final group narrative:
My groups final narrative is going to be a woman is followed home from the trains station coming back from work, and on her way he takes pictures of her, she thinks she is being followed at times but does not see anything, she gets home not thinking anything of it. The stalker has followed her all the way to her house. The atmosphere changes as soon as the door slams and the stalker who is also a killer and gets inside the womans house. Many abnormal things happen in the house which then results in the woman becoming vulnerable to the antagonist. the victim then becomes very scared and feels she is grave danger, she tries to escape from the house but all doors are locked and windows will not open. The Antagonist then reveals himself to the victim with a knife and chases her but not for long until he catches her and kills her leaving her hand on a window covered in blood slowly sliding down, leaving a red handprint on the window.
Well done Berkay, some good evidence of initiall planning. You have provided possible options of different narratives with some analysis of them.

-Introduction: why is it important to discuss ideas
-a bit more description in the narratives of each idea. Could note down more things such as characters, main themes present etc.
-conclude with how this initial planning has helped you and your group
